How many guests can Deer Hill Acres accommodate?
With our rustic wood benches, we can comfortably accommodate up to 50 guests for your ceremony. Our intimate, outdoor setting is perfect for small, personal weddings with close family and friends.

What is the payment schedule to reserve Deer Hill Acres?
We require an initial 50% non-refundable property retainer fee to secure your dates. The remainder is due 30 days before your ceremony date.
Is event insurance required?
Yes, event insurance is required to be purchased by the couple and proof must be sent to us at least 30 days prior to your ceremony date.
Can we have our wedding reception at Deer Hill Acres?
We do not host reception events. However, we would be happy to help you find nearby venues that may be a perfect fit for your reception! See our preferred vendors here.
Is the property wheelchair accessible?
Our goal is to make Deer Hill Acres as accessible as possible for all guests. A designated reserved handicapped parking space is located near the ceremony area, right at the edge of the aisle. From there, guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs can follow a gently packed wood chip/mulch path approximately 150 feet to the ceremony site. While the lawn includes three terraced levels, wheelchairs can remain on the upper terrace area, which offers a beautiful and unobstructed view of the ceremony. Assistance is recommended along the path.
What does the venue include?
Deer Hill Acres provides an outdoor ceremony space with rustic pine benches, an arbor, and a burlap aisle runner. You are welcome to bring your own décor and personalize the space to reflect your vision. We provide a beautiful, peaceful environment, but the setup and coordination are up to you.
Do you offer any wedding coordination or assistance?
We do not provide event coordination services—everything is managed by you. However, we’re happy to provide information and recommendations for vendors to help you plan your big day!
Can I bring my own décor and personal touches?
Absolutely! We encourage couples to personalize the space with their own décor, flowers, and details. The venue is a blank canvas for your creativity. Please note that all setup and takedown will be handled by you.
Are there any restrictions on what I can bring?
We ask that all décor be respectful of the natural environment and that items are safely secured. Fireworks, sparklers, and open flames are not permitted. We also ask that no confetti items be used, including traditional paper or foil confetti, rice, birdseed, or string confetti. Instead, flower petals make a great substitution and are easy to clean up. Please check with us if you have any specific questions about your plans.
How long can I reserve the space for?
You will have full access to the gated property on your ceremony day from 9am to 9pm. Additionally, you will have access the day before your event from 12pm to 9pm for setup and rehearsal. You will also have access from 9am to 12pm the day after your ceremony for cleanup.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes! We have ample parking space available for all guests. The parking area is conveniently located near the ceremony site.
Can I have an officiant or other vendors?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own officiant, photographer and/or videographer. Since the ceremony is self-guided, you’re free to arrange these services to fit your needs. All vendors must be approved.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed at Deer Hill Acres.
Are there restrooms on the property?
There are no restrooms available on the property but depending on the length of your ceremony, you may choose to rent portable restroom facilities.
